*While the Pacific Cross Travelsafe Single Trip and Multi-Trip Insurance plans cover land and sea components of primarily air-based trips, the Pacific Cross ShortSecure plan is specifically designed for journeys taken solely by land and/or sea. ShortSecure coverage is subject to the full terms and conditions of the policy.
ShortSecure (for Group and Individuals)
- Open to persons aged six (6) weeks old to seventy-five (75) years old.
- Travel using air transportation is not covered.
- Coverage shall commence at teh time of departure of the Insured Person from the point of origin which may be the accommodation site such as place of residence or employment, hotels, universities or schools, or the terminal wherein the transport vehicle to be used for the land or water trip will set off and ends on the expiry date or upon arrival at the point of origin, whichever occurs firtst.
- Coverage is allowed for travel using rented, public, or company vehicles as well as private cars, even when the Insured Person is driving.
- Accidents that occur outside the established route or towns/cities in between the point of origin and the place of destination are not covered.
